The FINER Symposium

*The 2023 Finer Symposium is open to women (ages 18+) and girls (ages 13-17). This is a FREE event for all participants. Registration is required. Space is limited.*

Join us on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 for The Finer Symposium, our second annual women's wellness symposium! The purpose of this event is to promote wellness within the Black and Brown female community through interactive workshops, hands-on experiences, and networking opportunities - all in the realm of wellness, which encompasses mental, physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Statistics have shown that women, in particular, Black women, are at a distinct disadvantage as they manage their whole well-being. The Finer Symposium will work to support women and attempt to reverse some of the damage created by the Covid-19 pandemic, in addition to addressing some of the systemic barriers that disproportionately affect marginalized communities like our targeted audience. 

As this year's theme explores Mental Health and Wellness Across the Generations, we decided to include young women because adolescence is a crucial period for developing the social and emotional habits that will form the basis of their lifelong mental health.
