About Deirdresha Wint-Eversley

Deirdresha Wint-Eversley was a scholar, leader, advocate, and devoted servant to her community. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she immigrated to the United States at the age of five. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Pre-Law from the Rochester Institute of Technology before pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at Western New England University School of Law.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Deirdresha distinguished herself through academic achievement, leadership, service, and advocacy. She earned numerous academic honors and held leadership positions in organizations dedicated to law, public interest, diversity, inclusion, and access to justice.

Community service was central to her life. She regularly organized food drives and community outreach initiatives supporting underserved populations. Even while courageously battling cancer, Deirdresha continued to give her time, talents, and compassion to others.

In 2015, she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Chi Eta Zeta Chapter, where she embodied the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Her legacy continues to inspire those who knew her and the communities she served.
